Kyle spent most of his early years in Victoria, Texas. At the age of 11, he moved to the Middle East to study in Jeddah’s International School where he connected with people from all over the world. Upon his return he moved to Conyers, GA, became a member of a church choir, and began to study music. At age 16 he enrolled in the Newton High School Concert Choir and was mentored by Choir Director/Pianist Michael Davis. During that time he began to study piano with a never-ending passion and curiosity for the instrument and its potential.
After high school Kyle attended Georgia Perimeter College, studying Psychology and Philosophy. During this time, he continued his study of piano with Amy Clack, a local piano teacher and church pianist. Soon after, he transferred to Georgia State University. He is now a Music Major at GSU, and studies piano with Dr. Geoffrey J. Haydon, Associate Professor, Keyboard Studies Coordinator, Piano Performance, Jazz Piano.
Kyle shares his love for music by teaching piano, composing, performing, and playing with two local Atlanta bands. In addition to piano, he plays guitar and bass guitar, and you can often find him playing one of his instruments throughout the city.
