Raised in the suburbs of northern Virginia, Paige Hamilton has recently brought her talents to the metropolitan area of Atlanta, Georgia. From broadway to classical, she has trained and performed in a variety of musical and vocal styles. She began her study of the piano in elementary school, participating in a variety of competitions and festivals. Along the way, she harbored a secret passion for voice which would manifest itself later on in high school.
Her vocal career began with involvement in several choirs, during which she earned a trophy at the Busch Gardens Musicale for Best Choral Soloist. She also landed the lead role in her school’s production of “Seussical: the Musical” – the first show she auditioned for.
Paige’s education continued at Florida State University where she simultaneously earned a Bachelor’s of Arts in Music (concentration in Voice) and a Bachelor’s of Science in Biology. While in Florida’s capital, she began performing with local jazz and blues ensembles. She worked regularly with recording artist Richie Summa and fronted for the big band, The Thursday Night Music Club in addition to being honored by being asked to perform the national anthem for many FSU sporting events.
After earning her BA, she worked for Jim’s Pianos in Tallahassee, reinforcing her knowledge of piano structure and sound. Since arriving in Atlanta, she has continued working on her career as a professional musician and teacher. Besides her work teaching both voice and piano, Paige also performs at weddings, corporate events, sporting events, on studio recordings, and at some of Atlanta’s popular jam sessions.
